The Commerce Undergraduate Society is the largest business undergraduate society in Canada in terms of its $1.2 million budget or more than 700 student volunteers. Its purpose is to create opportunities for professional, social and academic enhancement.
The Commerce Undergraduate Society hereinafter addressed as “the CUS” will endeavor to ensure an equitable, sustainable, and transparent voting procedure for various elections conducted within itself. These procedures must be obeyed by the members of the Elections Committee, all candidates, and voters to guarantee the elections are conducted in an efficient manner; this entails that all candidates are equally represented and that all voters have the ability to gain sufficient knowledge to make an educated vote.
The CUS Elections Committee’s mission is to create a platform for candidates to easily promote themselves and for voters to easily access candidate information.
The CUS Elections Committee operate based on the Commerce Undergraduate Constitution and Elections Policy.
